5 Things to Do in Hong Kong Before You Leave
May 25 2018, by Rachel Yeung
So you arrived in Hong Kong full of excitement and wonder, and next thing you know 4 years has flown by and you've decided to make a move back home or on to new adventures.
What should you do for the next few months to make the most of your time here in Hong Kong? So many things to do, so little time...
If you're like us and get really attached to places, we can totally understand how you feel, and here are our top 5 picks on how to make the most of the rest of your time as an expat in Hong Kong:

Known for the iconic views and a funicular railway, Victoria Peak, otherwise known as The Peak, is one you can't miss. Plan to go at least an hour before sunset and soak in a view of one of the finest harbours in the world while the sun goes down.
How many of you have been living in Hong Kong and not gone on a single hike? We know, it can be difficult to motivate yourself to get out of your cool, air-conditioned flat and into the hot, humid forests (really selling it here aren't we...). But once you get out there and take in the stunning scenery, you won't regret it (we promise)! There are plenty of different hikes you can do, from the easy beginner hikes to others that are more of a challenge.
4. VISIT YOUR FAVOURITE BEACH ONCE MORE

Our personal favourite is Ham Tin Wan’s beach on Tai Long Wan in Sai Kung. The sand is soft like powder and the water is so clear. Especially if you're moving back to a cold country, I'm sure you'd want to make full use of the sunny weather!
5. HANG OUT WITH FRIENDS

Saying goodbye to friends is by far the hardest part of leaving. The last few days are always the most manic as we try to spend as much time as possible with everyone we love. But even though expat life takes you away, just remember that they'll just be a phone call away!
And bon voyage! Here's to new beginnings 🍾
