April 10 2017, by Team BYDEAU
What you’ll need…
- Foam eggs
- Colored Cardstock (thicker paper holds the shape of the flowers better for more 3D effect
- Color permanent markers that match the color of paper you intend to use
- Dressing pins (we chose pearlescent white for an elegant touch)
- Flower-shaped paper cut-out stamp
TOP TIP: you can easily get these from local stationery stores
LET'S GET STARTED!
STEPS
-
Color your eggs in the shade best-suited to the color of your chosen paper
-
Stamp out flowers in two shades of color for depth + 3D effect
-
Stack the paper flowers one on top of the other and slightly off-angle
-
Pierce the dressing pin through the center + insert into the egg (careful to insert at an angle so the tip of the pins do not exit the other side of the egg)
-
Blanket the whole surface – cover as much space as possible for full texture
-
And you’re DONE – as easy as pie!
