5 Things Our Founder is Crushing on this July
July 17 2018, by Team BYDEAU
JENNIFER MARGOLIN, founder and creative director of BYDEAU, shares her top 5 favourites for July with us:
I’ve been loving all sorts, but here are my absolute favourites from beauty picks to holiday destinations and even a new zero waste store in Hong Kong…#eco-friendly!
1. Live Zero - Hong Kong's First Zero Waste Store
Plastic damages landfills and kills marine life, and we have zero excuses not to cut down on our usage of plastic with the rise of alternatives these days. Live Zero is a packaging free grocery store, it stocks a huge range of different organic cooking ingredients such as herbs, granola, flour and pasta as well as reusable utensils, chic water bottles and lunch boxes.
They also have a range of incredible smelling shampoos, soaps and other beauty essentials. All you have to do is bring an empty container and fill up as much as you want!
2. 111SKIN Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask

At the end of a long day, I like to unwind with a good book and a relaxing face mask. My current favourite is this luxurious hydrogel mask infused with gold and damask rose extract, it soothes, hydrates and leaves my skin feeling radiant and luminous.
3. Manhattan Beach, Los Angeles

It's summertime, so it's only fitting that we include a travel destination. With two miles of sparkly coastline, endless dining options and gorgeous sunsets, Manhattan Beach is everything you would expect from a California beach scene.
4. Flowy Linen Dresses

With the humidity and heat in Hong Kong, staying cool is sometimes a challenge! So there is one thing I love to wear in the summer and that's linen dresses. Check out The Slow Mode for a range of beautiful linen dresses available right here in Hong Kong.
5. BYDEAU | The Seaside
When it comes to decorating my home, I'd say I have a casual California vibe and we also like to collect unique pieces from all over the world. BYDEAU now stocks these whimsical ceramic pieces from Yarnnakarn, each piece has a story so it's handcrafted with slight variations of forms, colours and textures. We've paired it with the Formulary 55 shea butter soap to make the perfect hostess gift or to have it in your bathroom.
